A sworn / certified translator is a person of public trust appointed to exercise this function by the Minister of Justice. A sworn / certified translator seals the translation performed by himself / herself or by a non certified translator with a round seal that was issued to him by the National Mint of Poland. A  seal of a sworn translator is a round, metal seal issued to the translator by the National Mint of Poland. It bears the name and surname of the translator, the foreign language for which the translator was appointed and the TP number under which the translator was listed on the sworn translators list maintained by the Ministry of Justice.
